IKEA Fire Stopping Project

Westfield House, Sheffield

Maintaining both fire and security systems at Sheffield's Westfield House, our team works around the clock to ensure the building is safe and secure for both tenants and visitors.

The 10-storey Grade A office development is home to a variety of business tenants and provides a range of communal spaces that includes a central reception area and business lounge.

Our team maintains the building's two advanced fire alarm systems that are networked across its 10 floors, and the building's high-tech security protection systems, which includes intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control.

Cargo Building, Liverpool

Evotech's engineers maintain fire alarm systems, security alarms and CCTV systems at the Cargo Building in Liverpool, 24/7 365 days a year, ensuring the building is safe and secure for all building occupants and their possessions.

This multi storey residential development comprises 324 premier apartments and a range of public spaces that include a residents' lounge, private gym and underground parking. Our team maintains the building’s high-tech security protection systems including intruder, CCTV, and access control.

The building's fire protection systems comprises four networked C-TEC ZFP panels, networked across the three buildings and underground car parks, dry risers, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers and disabled refuges.

Dean Clough, Halifax

Dean Clough is a sprawling 22 acre mixed use mill complex in Halifax, featuring 16 Grade II listed Victorian mills that extend half a mile in length.

Evotech’s fire and security engineers ensure that the fire alarm systems in 13 of these buildings are maintained and fully operational around the clock, every day of the year, safeguarding the structures and their occupants from fire. Our team maintains the systems, including fire panels, smoke and heat detectors, and call points, to the BS5839-2017 standard and BAFE Scheme SP203-1.

The Astley Building, Manchester

The Evotech team maintains the security protection systems at the landmark Astley building in Manchester around the clock every day, ensuring the building is safe and secure for both residents and visitors alike.

The 14-storey residential development comprises 135 apartments and a wide range of public spaces that include a residents' lounge and extensive communal roof gardens.

Our team maintains the building's high-tech security protection systems including CCTV, intercom, and access control and also maintains the L5 custom-designed, advanced fire protection system that includes dry risers, sprinklers, smoke and fire detection, fire extinguishers, and disabled refuge.

Instore Direct, Leeds

After a detailed assessment of Instore Direct’s existing security measures at their Leeds distribution warehouse and sales office, Evotech’s security team proposed a range of security enhancements designed to improve the buildings’ perimeter security and access controls.

Upgrading the building’s existing intruder detection system to include comprehensive perimeter protection, enhanced door protection and digital remote monitoring, alongside additional CCTV coverage and a new access control solution, Instore Direct now have a robust site security solution using the latest technology.

Ripon Sailing Club, North Yorkshire

Evotech's fire engineers designed and installed a new fire alarm system for Ripon Sailing Club, located on the side of Farnham Lake in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The club house, built around 25 years ago, had no existing fire detection or signalling.

Our team designed a Category L1 fire protection system to BS 5839-1:2017 standards and integrated it with the building’s existing security system to enable remote monitoring.

Using a C-TEC XFP single loop, 16 zone addressable fire alarm panel, which offers high performance at a competitive price, the system was installed with compatible Apollo XP95 detection and sound beacons.

This scalable system uses proven technology that provides excellent performance and operates using digital communication, giving Ripon Sailing Club a future proof system.
