Our story
Evotech Fire & Security is a specialist division of Evolution Technical Services Ltd (Evotech). Established in 2003, Evotech is a nationwide provider of mechanical and electrical building maintenance and technical services (www.evotech.co.uk).
Our purpose is to help our clients keep their people, buildings, and property safe from the risk of fire and intruders, through the provision of bespoke fire and security protection systems and remote monitoring solutions, including design, installation, maintenance, and compliance services.
We have a vast depth of technical expertise within the fire and security sector, having built a forward thinking, highly skilled team who specialise in the latest fire protection and security technologies.
Our standards
Evotech is independently accredited to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 demonstrating our commitment to quality assurance and environmental management.
We are approved by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) for electronic security and fire systems and, in addition, we hold membership with the British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE) and the Fire Industry Association (FIA). Continued accreditation to these bodies is maintained through regular scrutiny of our company’s performance.

BAFE is the independent register of quality fire safety service providers who meet all the appropriate standards and who are independently audited.
BAFE Fire Systems Certificate
The FIA is the largest fire protection trade association in the UK. All FIA members are required to be third party certified.
The National Security Inspectorate is recognised as the leading certification body for the security and fire protection industries in the UK.

NICEIC provides assessment and certification services and regularly assess members to ensure the work they do is safe and installed to the highest industry standards.
Alcumus ISOQAR is a leading UKAS accredited certification provider. ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses.
Accreditation with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme demonstrates that contractors meet the required health and safety standards.
Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation ensures contractors are meeting their legal health and safety requirements.
A Government-run scheme, ConstructionLine is the UK’s largest pre-qualification database. Accreditation ensures contractors operate within set guidelines and align to appropriate standards.
Prosure360’s Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) demonstrates that Evotech meets the highest standards in health and safety, quality and ethical best practices.
Cyber Essentials is a Government backed scheme that helps protect accredited organisations against cyber-attack.
The Living Wage Foundation publishes an annual Living Wage figure and accredits employers who pay the Living Wage
The Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award acknowledges the substantial efforts made to engage and support current reservists and former military personnel within our company.
Evotech has been appointed to the NOE CPC framework for a second term. The framework supports NHS and wider public sector Capital, Estates and Facilities teams to manage their varied and complex estates requirements, enabling access to a variety of pre-qualified specialists.
